Hi, my name is Alex, but pets call me “Uncle Alex”. I'm the Founder of Mile High Pet Sitters, Denver’s Premier Pet Care Service. Here is a little about me:
My exposure to caring for pets at a young age, coupled with my love for animals, is what lead me to develop my company. It’s been a blessing to have the opportunity to do something I love and spread my passion. I decided to leave the Big Apple for Colorful Colorado in pursuit of my love for the outdoors and the breathtaking beauty it offers; whether it be camping, white water rafting, fishing, mountain biking, art galleries, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche games or the local music scene. Providing value to our clients, customer service and building lifelong relationships with them and their pets. It’s been a blessing to have the opportunity to do what I love and be compassionate for their best days, growing days and last days. I excel and specialize in senior pet care. Both you and your pet's satisfaction are my highest priority! Thank you for allowing is to be a part of your furry family! We look forward to meeting in person.
Hi! My name is Martha and I’m so excited to be joining MHPS. My love of animals began at birth, according to my mother! I was in love with all animals, but especially horses, and wouldn’t give up pestering my parent for one. At 4, I began riding lessons in Kentucky. We moved to Arizona shortly after and were given the choice of a pool or horses. I’m sure you can guess which one we chose! We ended up with 2 horses, a gelding and a mare which we bought from a man going door to door leading the 2 horses. A different time! There was definitely a learning curve for my parents, but they rose to the occasion! And we were off!! Scottsdale was very different than it is now. We rode on the open desert and even to Dairy Queen. We moved to Parker in 1965 when the Main Street was a dirt road. We of course brought our horses, 2 cats and our beloved beagle, Pal. I’ve been around animals my whole life and it has brought me such happiness! I feel a kinship with all animals and put my whole heart into caring for them. I’ve volunteered with Humane Colorado (Dumb Friends League) in foster care and surgery recovery. I also volunteered at Harmony Equine Center in Franktown. It is run by Humane Colorado and rescues abused and neglected equine confiscated by law enforcement. They rehabilitate and send them on their way with a new owner. It was so amazing to see them get a second chance. All animals are my passion which I’ve passed along to my 2 daughters. My oldest is a large animal vet and I’m so proud of her! I’ve lovingly cared for horses, dogs, cats, goats, chickens, tortoises (big ones!), guinea pigs, birds and fish. I also have had many dogs and cats of my own and currently have a Maine Coon kitty named Pip. I look forward to caring for your pets as if they are my own.

My dog used to think I was the greatest hunter in the world when I’d go grocery shopping! What your pet is to you is the same to me. FAMILY! The dogs in the photo are my grand dogs Griff and Sammy. There’s also Duke, Titan, Gia, Avalanche and a puddytat named Nala! All my children’s family. I taught them at an early age to love pets. We’ve had hamsters, geckos, guinea pigs, assortment of fish. Like any
good parent I knew that at a certain point someone had to keep them alive. I hired on for that duty every time we agreed to bring a new family member on board. Mile High Pet Sitters mission to me is taking ownership of your family members so you have peace of mind whether you are on a extend vacation or at the office that has you panicked because your work schedule has changed. Hi, my name is Jackson and I am a native Coloradan who was raised in Fort Collins. I have lived in different parts of Colorado including Boulder where I received a B.A. in biology, and Denver where I received an MBA in finance. Besides from being a huge animal lover of all types, I am also a certified scuba diver and a world traveler. I'm Mirna, a Native of Denver, Colorado. I've had pet dogs my entire life and I think of them as family. Gaia, currently my baby girl who is an American Bulldog is my life! I have a huge heart for animals, not just for dogs. Growing up, every year I visited my grandparents in Mexico where they lived that true country life. My grandpa who worked hard in their farm taught me so much about animals. I was always eager and excited to help him out with any animal duties. From there I grew a love and appreciation for all living creatures.
Your furry babies will be in good hands with me as I will care for them as if they were my own. 🫶🏽
