 Hi, I'm Alex—but my furry friends call me "Uncle Alex." I'm the founder of Mile High Pet Sitters, Denver's premier pet care service.

Growing up with animals sparked a lifelong passion that led me to build a team dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care. I moved from New York to Colorado in 1999 to pursue my love of the outdoors, and I've been serving Denver's pets and their families ever since.

Building lasting relationships with our clients is what we love most. From playful puppies to beloved senior pets, we're honored to be there through every stage of life. I specialize in senior pet care, and your pet's health, happiness, and well-being are always our highest priority.

 Hi, I'm Alicia, and I'm proud to be part of the Mile High Pet Sitters team! A Colorado native, I've always had a deep love for animals. My home is happily shared with my two dogs, Wrigley and Milo, and my two cats, Zaidy and Hazel.

Because pets are family, I provide every visit with the same love, attention, and care I'd want for my own. I also send regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

Since I don’t currently have pets of my own, I love the opportunity to give every animal the attention, care, and affection they deserve. When I’m not pet sitting, you’ll find me paddle boarding, hiking, watching sports, or enjoying a good book.

Growing up in Mississippi, I was surrounded by rescued animals and learned the importance of patience, compassion, and trust. I have experience with a variety of pets (even goats!) and am CPR and first aid certified to help ensure your pets’ safety.

My own rescue dog has been my greatest companion for the past 9 years, and I bring that same love and dedication to every pet I care for.

My three cats keep me company and remind me daily of the importance of patience, care, and attention. I’m also an avid gardener who loves flowers and the little joys of life.

With years of experience, including running my own professional cat-sitting business, I believe in creating trust through consistency, patience, and genuine connection. I treat every cat like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

When I’m not caring for pets, I enjoy reading, movies, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with friends.

I had my amazing pup Buddy for 12 years before he passed in 2020. When I wasn’t quite ready for another pet of my own, I began an “untethered” adventure—traveling the country while housesitting and pet sitting for over 4 years.

During that time, I cared for 111 pets across 15 states, creating meaningful bonds with animals and their families. Now happily settled in the Denver area, I’m excited to continue sharing my love, experience, and dedication with the Mile High Pet Sitters team.
