 Hi, I'm Alex—but my furry friends call me "Uncle Alex." I'm the founder of Mile High Pet Sitters, Denver's premier pet care service.

Growing up with animals sparked a lifelong passion that led me to build a team dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care. I moved from New York to Colorado in 1999 to pursue my love of the outdoors, and I've been serving Denver's pets and their families ever since.

Building lasting relationships with our clients is what we love most. From playful puppies to beloved senior pets, we're honored to be there through every stage of life. I specialize in senior pet care, and your pet's health, happiness, and well-being are always our highest priority.

 Hi, I'm Alicia, and I'm proud to be part of the Mile High Pet Sitters team! A Colorado native, I've always had a deep love for animals. My home is happily shared with my two dogs, Wrigley and Milo, and my two cats, Zaidy and Hazel.

Because pets are family, I provide every visit with the same love, attention, and care I'd want for my own. I also send regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

Hi, I’m Jenn, and I’m grateful to be part of the Mile High Pet Sitters team! A Colorado native, my lifelong love for cats has shaped my passion for pet care.

With years of experience, including running my own professional cat-sitting business, I believe in creating trust through consistency, patience, and genuine connection. I treat every cat like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

When I’m not caring for pets, I enjoy reading, movies, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with friends.

Hi, I’m Robby! Originally from Los Angeles and a proud U.S. Army veteran, I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. I’m usually the person who gets a little too excited when there’s a dog around—or somehow ends up becoming best friends with the cat hiding in the other room!

Dogs and cats have been a meaningful part of my life through my own pets, as well as those of family and friends. I love their unique personalities and the way they can make an ordinary day so much better.

Over the years, I’ve learned that caring for pets is about more than simply keeping them company. It’s about understanding their routines, paying attention to the little things, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, happy, and loved.

I take that responsibility seriously, while also genuinely enjoying every moment of it. I’m grateful for the opportunity to care for your pets and especially grateful to be part of the Mile High Pet Sitters  Team, where providing exceptional care is at the heart of what we do.

 Hi, I'm Jawanza, a seasoned caregiver and pet lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. As the proud owner of a German  Shepherd  named Poe, I’m completely at home with everything from energetic play and long walks to gentle, patient care for pets who need a calm touch, whether your furry family member is outgoing, shy, or anywhere in between, I focus on maintaining their daily routine, keeping them safe, and giving them all the love and attention they deserve while you're away!

I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have always believed they deserve patience, understanding, and thoughtful care. My specialty is dogs, and I’m the proud owner of a five-year-old Great Dane. Before bringing him home, I did extensive research and took his training seriously, which grew into a genuine passion for understanding animal behavior and helping pets thrive.

I’m experienced with multiple dogs and different personalities, including a reactive, anxious, and high-energy dog. I understand that every animal has different needs, routines, and ways of communicating, and I’m comfortable adapting my approach to each pet. I’m also confident caring for cats, fish, rabbits, and other animals, and I’m a quick learner when it comes to species-specific routines and care instructions.

When I care for your pets, you can expect your home to be treated with respect, your instructions to be followed carefully, and your animals to receive plenty of love and attention. I also love keeping owners connected while they’re away, so expect plenty of updates and photos! I even bring my digital camera to capture professional-style portraits of your pets.

Did someone say “pet lover?” I’m your “rent-a-grandmother” for cats and small dogs! 🐾

My three cats keep me company and remind me daily of the importance of patience, care, and attention. I’m also an avid gardener who loves flowers and the little joys of life.

Now retired, I have the flexibility to provide one-on-one visits and the loving care your pets deserve when you can’t be there.

Hi, my name is Mulazja! I’m a lifelong animal lover who loves learning all pets unique personalities! I’ve had Australian Cattle Dogs and currently have pet rats of my own, so I understand how important it is to make sure our animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have recent experience caring for other people’s pets, and I’m passionate about providing attentive, dependable care while keeping pets happy and sticking to their usual routines. 

I’ve also always aspired to become a professional service animal trainer, and I love learning more about animal behavior, communication, and positive interactions. My goal is to treat every pet with patience, kindness, and the same care I’d want someone to give my own.

Hi, I’m Erin, and I’m excited to be part of the Mile High Pet Sitters team! Originally from Southern California, I’ve called Colorado home for the past 9 years and have cared for animals my entire life—from dogs and cats to horses, parrots, and even squirrels.

Since I don’t currently have pets of my own, I love the opportunity to give every animal the attention, care, and affection they deserve. When I’m not pet sitting, you’ll find me paddle boarding, hiking, watching sports, or enjoying a good book.

Hello! My name is Julie, and I’m a longtime Denver resident who is thrilled to be part of the Mile High Pet Sitters team. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I’m excited to share my love for pets by providing compassionate, attentive, and personalized care for your beloved companions.

I grew up in a home filled with the happy energy of little Boston Terriers running around, so I understand how much joy, personality, and love pets bring into our lives. Those early experiences helped shape my appreciation for the special bond we share with our furry family members.

I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved, especially when their family is away. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, leisurely walks, cuddles, companionship, or simply having someone nearby to make them feel secure, I’m happy to tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. I also understand that some pets require a little extra patience, attention, or special care, and I’m committed to helping them feel as comfortable as possible in their own home.

I am so happy to be on the Mile High Pet Sitters team! Growing up, we always had cats, sometimes in apartments, sometimes in houses, but always loved and cared for in accordance with as much as their personalities allowed. Right now I have two tuxedo kitties: Skippy and Cookie. We also have a porch kitty named Olive who won't come in because of the big scary dog.

Once I moved into my first house with my wife and daughter, we got our first dog: a german shepherd labrador mix named Ruby.

Next is our little Yorkie named Ollie. He taught me about all the ways little smart dogs need extra care and for their routines to be just right.

And then there is Roxie, our boxer american bulldog mix. From her I learned how much more really spunky dogs need to run, play, and alert us to every possible threat from the front window.

When I am not taking care of doggos and kitties, I also teach High School Spanish in Arvada. When I'm not doing either, I love spending time with my wife and daughters.

All this I say to say that I will love each and every one of yours like they are my own.

Hi, I’m Mirna, a Denver native and lifelong animal lover. I’ve always considered my dogs family, including my current baby girl, Gaia, an American Bulldog.

Growing up, I spent time on my grandparents’ farm in Mexico, where I learned the importance of caring for and respecting all living creatures. Those experiences created a lifelong appreciation for animals of all kinds.
